Can I obtain a honourable Remortgage concord for an incomplete property?
We are building our own house slowly to keep costs down. We live in the property but enjoy not applied for the completion certificates etc as we have rooms to finish and extensive ground work outdoors to complete. We are next to a mortgage company from the start but could save money by changing lenders. Ive be told that as the property is incomplete no lender will be willing to take on my property in need these certificates? The amount i need is smaller amount than half of the current value of the house even contained by its unfinished state! Has anyone ever had this problem or know of any companies that would be predisposed to lend on this type of property? Thanks

A mortgage company will not normally lend more than the property is worth in its current state. (OK, until lately they were lending up to 125%, but they get their fingers burnt and won't be doing that again any time soon).
Without the Building Regulations certificate of completion your house is worth especially little, if anything, as a house. However, it will have a lower value, as a plot of manor with planning permission, and at hand may be some residual value in the building work done so far.
I'm sure in attendance are many companies who will lend on that basis.
